Dr. Scott Bigelow was born in North Platte, Nebraska. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Upon graduation, he then completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation.
As a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, his practice primarily encompasses general orthopaedics, total joint replacement, sports medicine, and arthroscopic surgery. In addition, his experience and expertise allow to him place special focus on adult reconstructive surgery of the knees, hips, and shoulders. Dr. Bigelow’s commitment to sports medicine is represented by his involvement as team physician for the Lincoln Saltdogs baseball team and the Lincoln Stars hockey team.
Dr. Bigelow’s mission is to provide patients with excellent service and compassionate care. He always strives to provide you with the same high-quality orthopaedic care that he would offer to a member of his family.
In addition to his extensive medical commitments, he enjoys cycling, fishing, woodworking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
