Matthew H. Freeman, M.D.
Dr. Freeman specializes in the treatment of sports-related injuries of the knee, hip, elbow, and shoulder along with total joint replacement surgery and general fracture care. As a former collegiate Division I baseball pitcher, Dr. Freeman has specific interests in caring for the throwing athlete including shoulder and elbow injuries. During fellowship, he spent additional time training in ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction and repair along with travel to the Dominican Republic and spring training for the Kansas City Royals. He serves as an assistant team physician for the University of Nebraska baseball and softball programs.
Dr. Freeman is married and has three children. While not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, spending time outdoors and living an active lifestyle.
