Physician biography

A Wahoo, Nebraska native, Dr. Volin enjoys providing expert orthopaedic care to his friends, neighbors, and fellow Nebraskans.  As an undergraduate at UNL, Dr. Volin’s pursuit of excellence began when he was named a 2nd Team Academic All-American Cornhusker Football player. Following an academic and athletic decorated undergraduate career, he earned his medical degree and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). At the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Dr. Volin completed a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery. After returning to Nebraska, and joining Nebraska Orthopaedic Center, Dr. Volin completed an advanced subspecialty training program in total joint arthroplasty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center department of Orthopaedics, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Garvin. 

Dr. Volin and his wife, Lori, have two children.  Together, they enjoy all that Nebraska has to offer, family time, water skiing, and golf. Dr. Volin remains dedicated to excellence, outstanding patient care, and to cultivating a stellar team of orthopaedic experts to enhance every aspect of the patient experience.
