Scott E. Strasburger, M.D.
Dr. Strasburger has been a part of Nebraska Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine since 1995. He is no stranger to Nebraska. A native of Holdrege, Nebraska, Dr. Strasburger first established his name as a collegiate All-American linebacker for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. In addition to being a 2-time Academic All-American, he was also drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1985.
Dr. Strasburger went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama - a world renowned facility for its out-pouring of sports medicine technology and throwing shoulder research. He has trained with the nation’s leading orthopaedic and sports medicine experts including training at The Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Strasburger serves as a team physician for the University of Nebraska, as well as a staff orthopaedist at the University Health Center. He is also the team physician for Lincoln Southeast High School and Lincoln North Star High School.
Dr. Strasburger enjoys spending time with his son and a daughter. He is also an avid golfer.
